Had a set of Rawlings pad the high school provided. Bought a set of Riddle SPK+ to replace them from sports unlimited but they offered less arm rotation than I wanted. I sent them back and bought the xtech. Unbelievable arm rotation. Very flat pad so my face mask clears the pad completely. It wasn't until I was really hit that the amazing thing happened. The impacts don't feel anything as bad as the other brands. Very comfortable and my parents love the fact they don't get smelly or require cleaning like other pads.

This pad is great its the closest thing to a 100% customizable pad that you can get too and I almost didn't even feel the hit while testing these bad boys out they flex in the chest for great armor movement as a lineman on both sides of the ball that's a great feature to have definitely would recommend this should pad if you have the money

Fit super snug and the most comfortable pads I've ever worn feel great with the best mobility definitely recommended.

Skill Pad Overview

The XTECH Skill Football Shoulder Pads are unique in the market. They are designed for players at the highest level of the game and feature padding made entirely from XRD foam, making them lightweight, soft, and flexible. These pads are equipped with a three-point swivel attachment in the front, a swivel belt system, and a cantilever yoke system, allowing for a full range of motion and more energy transfer compared to standard pads. The Skill pad is preferred by quarterbacks, smaller running backs, wide receivers, defensive ends, outside linebackers, and cornerbacks. It has a narrower front arch and optimal length for full sternum coverage, as well as front deltoid padding on the body cushions for extra shoulder coverage.
